Ah, the rose. Deeply rooted in symbolism, this flower is a classic for gifting for almost every occasion. Depending on its color and how open the rose is, it can mean a host of different things. Classically though, it is used to symbolize immortal love. These gorgeous flowers are a beautiful, and trendy way to decorate your home. They make fantastic gifts, and (my favorite part), they never die!

In this bouquet tutorial, you'll get a downloadable file and printable templates that include clear, step-by-step instructions on how to create one of these beautiful blooms, as well as a bud, and eucalyptus sprigs, for an ultra-realistic bouquet that is sure to knock the socks off of any recipient! This tutorial is considered one of our "advanced" tutorials, but since the file is jam-packed full of pictures and tips for every step of the way, as well as clear materials lists, we firmly believe that any level of crafter can complete it.

We recommend following along on your computer or tablet -and printing only the pattern page.

Use the add-on kit menu above to buy all the supplies you need to make this bouquet!

About the Designer

Hello! I'm Gina, the founder and owner of Bear & Barbaloot. By day I'm a pediatric nurse at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. I am also a wife to the best husband in the world, and the two cutest, most rambunctious little boys around (although I might be a teeny bit biased). In the rest of my "spare time" I lovingly work at making felt florals. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I adore making it!

I feel the need to post a balanced view to the one below. Personally, I think the more instructions the better. Parts that are simple to one crafter can be glossed over, but for those who are beginners, they are invaluable. Not everyone prints out the patterns and instructions, and it is possible to print select pages if there are more tricky areas you wish to keep beside you when not near the computer. Please continue to explain in a way that helps people of every level of skill to make your beautiful creations - but perhaps put a warning at the top that states how many pages there are, and let the individual make an informed decision. Thank you for your wonderful work and your sharing.

I love your selection of wool felt.I appreciate your selection. I also ordered a downloadable patte for felt roses.
It was 35 pages long!!
I suggest you simplify the pattern and don't do photographs of the steps. It took tons of ink to print. I was really disappointed. I will probably be discouraged from making it because of the column of information.
