Sulky thread is made with mercerized Egyptian 12 weight cotton. One strand of Sulky thread is equivalent to 1 1/2 strands of embroidery floss. Each easy to store bobbin includes 50 yards of thread. Ready to use thread is ideal for felt applique and penny quilts but equally wonderful for hand embroidery and machine sewing.
