Circles & Scallops, Deep Etch Die

$ 28.00

Created in collaboration with Mollie Johanson of Wild Olive, this die makes a great base for ornaments as well as sweet cookies and donuts! Layer the scallops onto the circles and stitch them on! The circles measure 3 1/2", 2 1/2", 1 1/2" and 3/4" wide, the scallops are designed to layer and fit within these circles.

Designed to pair with the Snow Globe Base Die -you can turn anything into a snow globe (or a crystal ball!)!

I’m new to this kind of thing and had a hard time getting them apart to use. They still have pokey edges because of that. It hasn’t affected their ability to cut fantastically. They don’t come with instructions and maybe they’re self explanatory to people familiar with this kind of thing, but it would have been nice to have some instructions. If you know what you’re doing they’re fantastic! It’s so fun to have perfect circles!

We definitely recommend the metal snippers that are available on benziedesign.com -the small cutting tip is perfect for dies! And the pokey edges are completely normal -some crafters like to take a bit of sandpaper to smooth them out but they are so tiny we just leave them! We also have a tutorial on our blog that shows exactly how to use the dies: https://www.benziedesign.com/blogs/tutorials/how-to-cut-felt-with-a-die-cut-machine. You may find it helpful -enjoy your new dies!

Game changer

These sure are a game changer! I can't believe how quickly I got all 30+ ornament sets cut out with these. I'd still be cutting them by hand!
