Felt Magnolia Wreath

Get holiday ready! Deck your wall and warm your heart with our Merry Magnolia Wreath - as seen in Better Homes & Garden's Make it Yourself magazine. At Benzie, we love it in Moss felt trimmed with our white felt pom-poms. Or try a combination of Meadow and Zucchini felt to give it the true Magnolia wreath feel.

Directions:

1. Gather your felt leaves. You can use the felt-fetti precut shapes in the supply list or cut your own from felt yardage. You will need about 1 1/2 to 2 yards to hand cut leaves. Our large leaves are about 3 1/2 x 2" wide and our small leaves are about 2 1/2 x 1 1/4" wide. To give the wreath a full appearance, fold the tip of each leaf over itself and use the stick pin to attach to the styrofoam wreath.

2. Place the leaves row by row, pinning each leaf about 1/2" - 1" apart from each other. Only pin leaves to the front and sides of the wreath. The back side will remain unfinished.

4. Lastly, pin the felt poms through the edge of the pom and to the wreath. Be sure to hide the pin in the back side of the pom. You now have a beautiful full wreath to decorate! Want to add some magnolia flowers? Find the tutorial here!
